Pacific Islands Collection
Search for Online PI Resources
The Pacific Collection at BYU–Hawaii was established to support the research needs of students, faculty, and scholars focusing on the Pacific Islands and Hawaiian studies.
What to Expect
The Pacific Islands Collection includes resources on many topics related to the Pacific region and its peoples, both in the islands and across the global Pacific diaspora. You will find materials on Pacific history and politics, business and economics, sports and popular culture, legends and folklore, and Indigenous knowledge and cultural practices. These resources support research, class projects, and personal learning, and highlight the richness, diversity, and global connections of Pacific communities.
Collection Use Policies
Pacific Islands Collection is an open-closed stack, meaning materials can only be used in the Special Collection reading area and cannot be checked out. No food in the PI to prevent damage to our materials and equipment
