As we move into a busy semester, we want to inform you about an essential change regarding RefWorks. Our RefWorks subscription ends on October 31 and we will not renew it. Consequently, all RefWorks accounts will be removed from the system after this date.
Suppose you have any documents, references, or projects saved in RefWorks. In that case, it is essential that you take immediate action to ensure your work is not lost. When the subscription ends, you will no longer have access to your RefWorks account, and all data stored there will be permanently removed. Any papers, citations, and project references saved on the platform will be inaccessible.
To avoid losing your work, we strongly recommend saving all your projects and files in an alternative storage format as soon as possible. Various citation management tools and storage solutions are available, such as Zotero, Mendeley, EndNote, or even basic document formats like Word and Excel. Choose a method that best fits your needs and begin the backup process immediately.
We understand that transitioning from one reference management tool to another can be challenging, and we're here to help. Please reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with exporting your data or choosing a new citation management tool. Our support team is available to guide you through the process and ensure you have the resources you need for a successful transition.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. We aim to make the transition as smooth as possible while minimizing any disruption to your academic work. Remember to save your files before the deadline on October 31, and feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.
Don't wait – back up your RefWorks data today!
