Ebinger, Gilbert George of Waipahu, O‘ahu, died April 24, 2005, at St. .Francis Medical Center West, at the age of 68. Elliott, Sandra Sue "Sandy" June 25, 1935 - July 19, 2005 Sandy, age 70, of Kailua, formerly of St. Joseph, MO., passed away peacefully and comfortably on the early morning of July 19, 2005 at Straub Clinic/Hospital. She was born in Falls City, Nebraska and in 1962 with her husband John and daughter Patricia moved to Hawaii. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, John R. Elliott; daughters, Patricia D. Elliott, Katherine L. (Wendell) Piho and Susan M. Elliott along with 9 grandchildren, Christina, Nicole, Jordan, Jacob, Joshua, Jana, Jayleen, Kailani and Ainahau, also 6 great-grandchildren, Shyla, Nainoa, Kylie, Kaiwi, Makana and Destiny. Also survived by her devoted little Chihuahua, "Spider." Her son, Stephen M. Elliott, preceded her in death. Sandy was a very hands on mother while raising her children, becoming a Cub Scout Leader and Blue Bird Leader, showing unconditional love for all throughout their growing and later years. Sandy and John enjoyed bowling together in leagues for many years in Kailua. Sandy continued bowling until she could no longer hold the ball. She enjoyed morning water exercises at the Kailua Y.M.C.A. pool "with the girls." Her presence at these places and with those who loved her will truly be missed. Sandy's happy smiling face will forever be remembered in our hearts. Mom has joined Stephen in heaven and both will be the angels on our shoulders whispering in our ears… Never to be forgotten. She was a revered educator, a prize-winning coach, a reverent church member, and an honorable community leader. These accomplishments are superseded only by her love for her family.
