Peter Querido Sr., age 85, of Kaneohe, passed away Dec. 28, 1995 in Paia, Maui. He is survived by his beloved sons, Peter "Lovey" (Jeanette) Querido, Jr. of California, Jerry (Betty Ann) Querido, James "Kimo" Querido, Harry W. (Rosie) Friend; daughter, Mrs. Kendall (Honey Girl) Torn; sister, Mrs Ida Teter of California; 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was a member of Waimanalo Senior Citizens Club, a member of UPW and he retired from the City and County of Honolulu, Road Department. [SB 01/01/1996]

 

Claudio Mendoza "Odiong" Quibuyen, 82, of Honolulu, died Feb. 6, 1995. He was born in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines, and was a member of the Badoc Pinili Aid Association. Survived by wife, Maria; daughters, Rosemarie Paniasiqui, Janet Baldugo, Myrnalyn Vergara, Joy Ruth Agamao and Shirley Omila, all of California; sons, Danny Sr. of Nevada and Jerry of California; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Sarah Kahilialau Kaopuiki Thelma Quihano, 63, of Waianae, died Feb. 17, 1995 at her residence. She was born June 17, 1931 in Honolulu. Survived by husband, Franklin; daughters, Mrs. Keala (Annette) Perez, Mrs. Peter (Annie)Bailey of TX, Myra Malia Roberts of TN and Laurie Ann Quihano of Nanakuli; sons, Stanely K.Peeples of Waianae; seven grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Daniel (Pearl) Punihaole; and brother, Paul Kaopuiki. Benvennido Barney" Quizon, 69, of Pearl City, died Feb. 5, 1995 at Kapiolani Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1925 in Honolulu, had served with the U.S. Army, First Filipino Infantry in the Philippines during World War II, was retired longtime motor vehicle operator, Motor Vehical Operator at the 15th Transportation Squadron in     Hickam Air Force Base, and a boxer with Catholic Youth Orgnization. Survived by wife, Isabella; sons, Ronald Paul, Wallace John and Lanny Peters; daughers, Yolanda, Mrs. Michael (Elizabeth) Maynor; brother Eugene "Johnny"; sister, Mrs. Salustiano (Julia) Devela; four grandchildren.
